Mr. Garfinkle obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Marietta College and soon after his Juris Doctorate degree from Hastings College of Law. Mr. Garfinkle is a nationally acclaimed legal ethics lecturer, author and columnist. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Persuasion and Advocacy at Seton Hall Law School, successfully training New Jersey’s next generation of law students. Having also served as a Public Defender in Livingston, NJ Mr. Garfinkle is well-versed in ethical matters, with a legal acumen covering the many intricacies of the legal system and with an acute understanding of the legal needs of New Jersey attorneys and legal practitioners. Furthermore, Mr. Garfinkle is a former attorney ethics investigator and past chair (2006 - 2007) of the NJ Supreme Court District Attorney Ethics Committee for District VB.
